George Aspiotis

George Aspiotis, owner of Studio Aspiotis, is a very experienced (30,000+ hours) studio audio engineer and record producer since 1993 based in Athens – Greece, but working with bands and labels from all over the world. He’s recently worked with among others: the legendary Warlord (USA) through their Sons Of A Dream Music label based out of FLA, Mr. Mark Zonder (Fates Warning, Slavior, Warlord), Metal Breed Records of PA (and their releases of Brazilian folk rockers Braea and pop artist Julia Kristal), Retrospect/Retrothrash Records (US) and the latest Kingdragon (GR) release which he personally arranged, produced, recorded and mixed. He’s also worked with legendary metallers Spitfire (GR) EMI Records, also for BMG Greece – Ariola, at Sierra studios as well and hold alone 1 Gold Certified Record (latest one is for Warlord’s release of “The Ten Commandments” here in Greece, which he mastered).

Masterclasses:

In the last 5 years he’s held 4 masterclasses in the studio for the M.I.A. Laboratories (Mixing is Art) and i also working for them as official designer (GUI) for the development of their new plugins! (Release 2019-2020)

He’s also very proud about two masterclasses that he was involved with as organiser.

1. BlackRock Masterclass. Rammstein’s production team in a phenomenal recording destination in Greece! Black Rock Studios Santorini. | Jacob Hellner has been producing records with Ulf Kruckenberg as engineer for almost 20 years. Apart from their work with Rammstein they have also worked with Apocalyptica and Clawfinger amongst others. They held a masterclass at Black Rock studios Sep 18-21 / 2014. 2.  Sylvia Massy Masterclass. Friend, amazing audio engineer and Grammy Winner producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a down, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Prince, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and more) came in Greece for an unforgetable 2 day studio masterclass.
