Hello. This is Dave Isaac. I’m a Grammy-winning producer and mix engineer. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan (Motown), and I have over 43 years of music industry experience. I am a musician….and I’m also one bad mofo!
An R&B legend
Dave Isaac is a titan in the world of R&B music, having honed his craft during the heyday of Motown in Detroit. There, he collaborated with superstars such as Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder. After moving to Los Angeles, he continued to build on his resume with artists like Madonna, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Eventually Isaac paired with bass legend and producer Marcus Miller to produce and engineer pop, R&B and jazz music, along with work in the film & television industry extensively. To date, he has earned three Grammy Awards and has many more nominations.
Besides being in the music industry, I’ve been involved with many television and film projects such as Lethal Weapon 2, Everybody Hates Chris, A Low Down Dirty Shame, Trumpet of The Swan, White Men Can’t Jump, and more.
